Paolo has raised a brilliant point here.
Its one that we are probably all aware of - this "hobby" is becoming more expensive, not just the watches but all the accessories too. But why ??? Why is there suddenly such a rush of enthusiasm for the smaller pieces that make up the complete set. How could our focus have slipped away from the watches that brought us to this forum in the first place.
- Is it the rash of new collectors we have seen over the last 2 years (may i point out that all new members & enthusiasts are completly welcome as you now share our passion too)
OR
- is it the purist collector that has acquired their dream watch that is now chasing the "bits & bobs", to complete the package
OR
- is it due to the fact that through this forum collectors are now more informed & therefore have a greater ability identify the correct bracelet or box for each execution of watch.
Its always been hard to get these double rice GF bracelts but its getting harder.
Just something to consider.
Cheers - Darren
