: hi
: as jeff will testify, i've been looking for a
: nice cheap gold Carrera for the last 5 years
: or so. recently two have turned up on ebay,
: one from italy, one from germany, both
: rather too rich for my blood. however in my
: searches i had found only watches that
: conformed to the catalogue listings ie they
: had 'champagne' dials. both of these nos
: Carreras have silver dials. i don't think
: they are wrong as they have gold applied
: markers so the dial type is not from any
: other Carrera, and everything else seems
: correct.
: however why have 2 suddenly turned up?
: is there a secret cache?
: is it the same watch?
: is it time to add another watch to the MOAT?
: naturally i have no interest in the sale of
: this watch and do not know the seller.
