I just cant get this post war warrior off my wrist at the moment. Its been a faithful companion for nearly every day i've had off work of late.
Well thats going to change tommorrow, i'm off to a fancy dinner and one of my mates is crazy about the Black/White/Red design of my Viceroy Autavia so i've promised him i'll bring it along for "show and tell".
The vast majority of my mates are into their watches but i'm afraid its pricey established name new watches that ring their bell (or should that be bells in this case ... hmmm).
Anyway aside from some of the impracticalities of vintage watches (waterproof springs to mind) there are a couple of them starting to absorb and understand my passion and even begin to take interest. I hope to impart some of my enthusiasm upon them tommorrow over a glass or 3 of fine wine.
Bon appetit & cheers to you all.
