Surprised to See: Orvis Knock-Off of the Monaco

Well, I guess we can say that it has been a long slide down for the Orvis brand, in the world of chronographs, going from the "Solunagraph" (shown in the top photo) to the "Racing Chronograph" (shown below).

http://www.orvis.com/store/product.aspx?pf_id=2L8Y&dir_id=1137&group_id=11942&cat_id=11959&subcat_id=13028

The Racing Chronograph is described as follows:

A chronograph design with a fabled history in European racing. Unique square stainless-steel case with stopwatch function that records seconds, minutes, and hours up to 24 hours for use in the 24-hour race at Le Mans. Quartz movement with an easy-to-see red stopwatch hand. Genuine crocodile band. Calendar function. 40mm case diameter. Three-year battery life. Imported.
So it records hours up to 24, for use at Le Mans. Amazing!!

We can only imagine what the Abercrombie counterpart might look like.
