never seen a race car run into the jet dryer . . . then again, how often do we see a Sunday afternoon race finish early Tuesday AM.

Of course the NASCAR fans loved it, as the race drew great TV audience; perhaps no professional wrestling or reality TV on in this time-slot. Maybe they should have a couple of jet dryers, full of fuel, in every NASCAR field?
