I know what you mean about the (most) Navitimer(s) - the Heuer puts scales on bezels to keep the dial clean enough to avoid the cluttered feel of the Breitlings.
Not sure about the second hand, but the black-dialled watches had bi-colour hands too, albeit in a different place - pinion and below in black, above in white. So yours could well be original, it looks to be the right shape - I haven't seen enough of them to be any more definitive.
I'm sure Chuck Maddox would approve :)
