: The 250 GT SWB was a real high water mark for Ferrari and my
: personal favourite, lucky indeed. And, yes, you're talking £2-3
: million nowadays.
: Can't say I care for the Speed Collection Carrera, just looks
: excessive compared to the vintage one.
: Hope the Autavia's ok.
Thanks Mark! The Autavia is ok, for now at least. I'm going to monitor it and see if everything works ok but I think it's probably safest to get it checked over.
I like the Speed Collection Carrera because of its size. I have fairly large wrists and find that anything under 40mm is too small, I can just get away with a Seamaster. Autavias are just perfect for me and 43mm for this new Carrera isn't an issue. The only downside is that with £3,000 I would be buying something vintage and Heuer and I won't even consider one of these new ones unless it has a hefty discount and comes with the option of interest free repayments! I'd love to be able to wear an original Carrera of any kind but the ones I've seen have all been too small (at least in my eyes)
