: decades. You would never expect to crank it up and take it onto
: the highway. Well, it's the same for the watches -- lubricants,
: seals, springs, etc. will need some attention before you take it
: out on the road. It can get tricky because the watch may run,
: and even run well, but it will need the servicing, regardless.

I'm being charged $450 for the overhaul/main spring. Is this fair enough? (Watchmaker location is downtown L.A. arranged through a local jeweler referenced by Tag-Heuer website for service locations.)
