As we approach the end of March, let's start thinking about our next "Flea Market", when we allow buying, selling and trading on this discussion forum. Let's hold this one from Thursday, March 29th through the following Monday, April 2nd. We are not too strict about the start and finish dates, so you can feel free to list a little before ro a little after, if more convenient for you.
“Chuck’s Flea Market” was the creation of one of our founding members, Chuck Maddox, who passed away in May 2008. The idea is that at the end of each calendar quarter, we open our discussion forum so that our contributors can post listings to buy and sell watches . . . so you can:
- list watches for sale (FS), with a fixed price or seeking offers
- tell us about the ones you want to buy (WTB), or
- propose trades (WTT).
These Flea Markets have been a very successful outlet for many of our contributors; they are a good way for our chronographs to find new homes (within the "family") and a good way for our readers to show how their collections may be shifting (specifically, telling other readers about the watches they are seeking to buy and sell). Sure, you can always use ChronoTrader, but the CFMs have a nice, family atmosphere.
So get out the watches that you are not wearing, take some great photos, and let’s see some interesting watches for sale, starting March 29th.
