I don't see any signs of either watch being put together, replacement parts are not so easy to come by for first gen Carreras so I doubt many are being assembled from parts.
Both watches have relumed hands, I'd say the first one has also had a slight polish to achieve that clean a case - not badly done though, the angles are still pretty sharp. The dial has quite a patina, which is making it look whiter and more matte than it might otherwise - quite an attractive patina in my opinion, though quite how well it sits with the refinished case is open for debate. Top money being asked too.
