Perhaps my imagination is not good enough, but it is difficult for me to look at this one and imagine that it can be restored to be an attractive watch. The hands are such a mess, and the bezel appears to be from an earlier manual-wind Autavia (2446). Case-back may also be incorrect? When these elements have these problems, then we have to wonder about the life that this watch has lived . . . must have been rough.
It would be difficult to justify $1,999 for this one, when the nice ones come in at under $4,000.
Do other see it differently?
