It was originally 30s-50s but that ended up being too long for one article really. So we kept the two more thematically coherent decades together, and the 50s will stand alone. And that will be the start of the one article per decade theme, we have so much material for the later decades that it becomes as much about editing it down to a reasonable length as anything.

I'd put a duplicate photo link in that David deleted, so that may have broken some of the references - I'll have a look at who 24 should really be attributed to.
