Not to dwell on one of the unpleasant aspects of this hobby, but here's a topic that I can't recall discussing over the past nine years: How do you feel about / respond to folks who agree to buy or sell a watch, and then simply break the deal?

• How often has this happened to you, over the years?
• Do you adopt a "forgive and forget" attitude or is it "never forget"?
• What is the best / funniest excuse that you have heard for busting a deal?
• Why do you think this happens? Cold feet? Change of heart? Spousal pressure? Your refusal to commit Customs fraud causes buyer to bust?
• Any suggestions for our readers about how to avoid the busted deals?
