Hi Steve - my original post was designed to simplify the matter of the 2446C GMT because we see so many combinations of pushers, dials, hands and cases. Jeff has made a valiant effort by defining 4 executions but there will always be some that do not quite match these exactly for a number of reasons like parts changed at service, parts used up in manufacture and of course parts bin watches. I think I am safe in defining the first and last executions. Anything that falls between the two is likely to be a legitimate watch with some components found in both the first and last examples.
The main difference is the case and until quite recently I was not aware that there was a difference. This is important when trying to find replacement parts eg the bezel.
Hope that is helpful
regards
Paul
