Wow just for comparison purposes look at the before and after photo you can really see how much of the surface was taken away from the original... Thanks goes to James and Craig... I found it very fun and now I know a thing or two about changing a watch's crystal :-)
Before:
You can tell that the original crystal was literally riding on the same level as the bezel.
Now, after, thanks to James for providing those measurement and Craig for his suggestion of a crystal that he recommended somewhat close and the best fit in my opinion:
Now, we're talking the crystal is actually above the bezel like it should be. Overall, it was a nice little project and can't wait to do more in the future...
