a mareograph is not so necessary here in london, unless you are a mud lark, so the monaco is to be found on my wrist today. in fact i have worn nothing else since my trip to le mans for the 24 hour race (what other watch would any self respecting heuer enthusiast wear there, except perhaps a siffert autavia). i was surprised i did not see another monaco worn all weekend. the watch of choice seemed to be the rolex submariner, with no one even having the good sense to have bought a sea dweller. maybe they were all fakes anyway???
