Hello YU-Zen:
it is great to have a correspondent / friend on the ground in the far east, and we thank you for sharing this first posting.
YES -- I have one of the fine-tooth rallye master pairs; I bought it three months ago; have just gotten it back from servicing (Monte Carlo did not run at all); now the task it to take the photographs and add it to OnTheDash.
In terms of scarcity, I have seen two of these fine-toothed pairs in five years of watching -- the pair that you have posted and my pair. The engraved back plates are not so rare [I have probably seen six or eight of those], but they are of historical significance to the rally enthusiasts and are usually in nice boxes and in excellent condition.
My fine-toothed pair looks very similar to the one shown -- fish tail on the monte carlo; fat second hands on both the master time and the monte carlo.
So how can we contact the owner of this collection?? we need to get him involved with OnTheDash. Yu-Zen: he is in your territory, so you should take charge of this relationship.
cheers,
Jeff
