Shaun: may not be neccessary to remove the crown and the two part stem. You can do: 1.- Remove the crystal/plastic only, remove the hands, clean them and re-paste them with fluorescent paste that is made for that purpose. Or 2.-Have the hands measured (Cannon Pinion, Hour wheel and Sweep Sec.Hand) and the length and reorder them, There is a place here in California www.Ofrei.com, it has a catalog on-line where you can order most of what you may need.
