Coming Soon . . . more on Gilles Villeneuve and his Autavia.
The Autavia is a new arrival, and I absolutely love it . . . beautiful contrast between the registers and the dial, between the black and the orange, etc. The watch is a killer!! We can debate what is and is not a "Derek Bell", and about the Monaco worn by Siffert, and puzzle over Marios Autavias, but one thing we can be certain of -- Gilles is wearing an Autavia, Reference 73633. [Note that bezel on my Autavia may not be "correct".]
My apology for the quick and dirty (poor-quality) photo of the watch, but there is something that I like about it.
