The serial number might be able to help us determine what this one looked like when it left the factory. For example, the pushers seem to extend a long way outside the cut-outs (giving it the "big ears" look), which may suggest an early serial number (MH) version.
If you can post or send a message with the serial number, we can see what it might tell us.
Thanks,
Jeff

: A few years back I bought a Heuer Autavia. My stepfather is a watch
: repairer so I asked him to service it and he got talking to a
: regular customer about it. He's now reported back that it's a
: bit of a Frankenwatch!
: Apparently the watch is a mixture of:
: Viceroy Dial
: Viceroy Handset
: Cal 12 Movement
: 1163 Case
: Minute/Hour Bezel
: Hopefully that all makes sense!
: So I'm now in a position where I don't know what to do - I can try
: and find the right parts to make it a complete watch but which
: one? The other option is to look at selling complete or breaking
: for parts. What would be the potential values complete or split?
: Would I be better trying to sell on chronotrader or ebay etc?
: THIS IS NOT CURRENTLY FOR SALE! I'm only after ideas as to
: what I should do and potential values.
: Many thanks in advance.
