Great to see another example
This known 1944 example goes a long way towards dating my own watch. I note a few very slight differences but most notably the proportion of the cutaway of the arabic numerals.
MY WATCH
THE KNOWN 1944 EXAMPLE
Further observations of the one sold today at auction is that it has it does not have Heuer marked on the bridge or inner back case as would be expected.
On a personal note my own example and this auctioned one have faded and patina'd in completely different ways. You can call me biased but I prefer my own "yellowed" model's patina.
Cheers - Darren
