i would like to hear from forum members with knowledge in this field.
I received an old non-Omega watch with this buckle on and would like to know if its vintage, re-issue or fake. I would like to sell the buckle but dont want to misrepresent it as vintage if it is not. I note the rough finish inside the Omega symbol (which worries me a little) but i also note the back of the buckle has the sun symbol similar to those we see on Heuer buckles. Also the springbar has that same "fat" feeling to it that the Heuer sun buckles have in place.
Here's a slide show link with further pictures if it helps you - http://s44.photobucket.com/albums/f26/dazgo/Watch%20parts/Omega%20buckle/?albumview=slideshow
All help appreciated , thanks - Darren
