I agree. You can always have a case restored or refinished, and most likely make it look the way it left the factory some 40 or 50 years ago, as long as is it is done by someone who knows what it takes to do it right, one name comes to mind, "The Master", Abel, but a dial... will never look the way it originally did. I guess we all know that by now... don't we...?
