: Wow . . . he suggests that half to three quarters of the value of a vintage watch is in the dial. Agree or disagree?
For some Rolexes, it's definitely higher than three quarters.
I normally advise against touching anything for the sake of originality, but if there's one thing I would really really REALLY refrain from having redone, it's a dial.
