first post to this austere group and I certainly understand if the response is be handled back channel. I bought thie Autavia in 1977. This was my first "real watch" but has seen better days. As you can tell the crystal needes replacing. More difficult to pick up on is the fact that the crown is genuine Accutron, don't ask. Some of you, maybe all of you, will also recognize the second hand is not OEM. The watch actually keeps decent time but does need routine maintance in addition the obvious restoration issues.

Who would you turn to? About 12 years ago I started down the repair path but all I got was the comment that the crystal could not be replaced. Certainly I know better than that now. If you owned this one, where would you go to??? TIA
