Thanks. The Dani shot was taken with a Nikon D3 with a Nikkor 500 F4 aboard. There aren't many places at Indy where a 300 is right. It is either too long or not long enough. The 500 is my walk-around lens. It is lighter than both the 400 F2.8 and the 600 F4 and it is just as fast and maybe a tad sharper. BTW, I also shot some action shots at this race with a D800....the new high res Nikon. It doesn't focus as fast as the D3 and D4 but I got a few shots to come out. I am going to make a few big prints and see if there is much difference. So far I would tend to think that there is not too much.
