Racing posters

A while ago I posted pictures of some of my posters:

And some more in my reply to that thread:

Not so long ago I had a go at photographing some of my poster collection, I managed to get a lot of them but most of the Porsche posters are still in tubes:

My favourite being an original Land Speed Record poster. These things are unbelievably rare, I've not seen another old one outside of museums:

I was missing an original Sebring painting though, one from the 1999 race, the original watercolour used for the actual race poster. It was really bugging me for a while but not being able to find it I assumed it had been lost or was living in a barn I rent. I found it tonight, along with two more I forgot about. All by Simon Ward, they're from 1998, 1999 and 2000. I particularly like the 1999 painting with the Ferrari 333SP at the front. I've been going to Le Mans since 1995 and remember all these sports cars. The Panoz GT1 coupes from the late 1990s were fantastic, they really did make the ground shake as they went past. The 333SP was the last Ferrari prototype and it was never really developed, I don't think the factory was involved in it. Note the Mercedes CLK GTR in the background, I don't believe it raced in 1999, the CLR appeared at Le Mans and famously flipped three times. So here's what I have, all going into frames with conservation glass:

and the poster:

This one doesn't match the program (picture below), I can't find a picture of the actual race poster, I wonder if it was used on that or was an alternative version?

I thought you might like to see them, I suspect there are some car enthusiasts here. One day I'm hoping to have a four-car garage with walls big enough to display a load of the posters. Until then most are living in the attic with some dotted round the house.
