It turns out that there are 72 people who I follow on my Vintage Watch List. I had never paid any attention to this list, as such.
You can view the list here -- https://twitter.com/#!/onthedash/vintagewatches/members
72 people is a reasonable number of people to follow; you won't get too much SPAM, but will have a nice flow of notices, etc.
Give it a try!!

: So let me post this reminder that Twitter is absolutely amazing for
: the vintage watch community. Lots of great articles and
: information; dealers offering watches; very quick and efficient,
: with the limit of 140 characters per message. And it will be
: even better, if more of us participate. Plain old webpages are
: getting old; Facebook still looks pitiful to me (for vintage
: watches); blogs are great, but only if postings are Tweeted. I
: believe that Twitter is here to stay and will increase greatly
: in importance.
: Do yourself (and our community) a favor: Register now and commence
: Tweeting!!
: So how do others see it?
