Thanks Abel.
I too agree about the inserts, it's almost an 'option' like the new buyer in the 70's opting for a GF or Corfam.
Also, Abel - do you rmember that Cal. 12 Montreal you worked on for my a long while back? It was perfect apart from the 'star-dust' patina in the centre of the dial.. well after a long, long time looking, I've finally found a perfect dial, with the same lume patina to fit in it. I'll get a photo for you.

: Dear Stewart,
: This is such a pretty watch! Congratulations, very well done!
: Strange that only a few different accents in compairison with a
: Siffert dial can mean such a big difference in overall look. I
: wouldn't know which to choose between those too ;-)
: I have handled four or five Autavia's with a white dial untill now,
: none of them was from me, it were all watches from fellow
: collectors/customers. They were all housed in 11630 cases and I
: have a very strong belief the 11630 case is the correct one for
: the "Bianco"...but I'd also rather call it 11630T like
: Mark ;-)
: Awesome pictures too Stewart!
: About the bezel. MH or Tachy. I always have to smile when people
: are discussing about the bezels. For me this is a topic wich is
: completely abundant when it comes to Autavia's (maybe except for
: the Diver 100 and the 11630P). We all know that a bezel can be
: changed in 1 minute when you have the skill and tools. So, when
: a customer bought a Heuer watch back in the time...he could just
: choose what he wanted, he just needed to ask the retailer to
: make a switch...so if a watch had an MH bezel ex factory and the
: customer liked the Tachy more...simple change and all good and
: original in my eyes. So, let's avoid discussing about the bezel
: insert ;-)
: Cheers,
: Abel.
