Hi Maurice, thanks for responding, you sound like a decent chap. I would therefore like to think that common sense may prevail and the vast wealth of knowledge that is present from the members of this forum be accepted and taken on board. The major consensus is that this is a re-dial and not a special Japanese dial. Please please please don't let this open a flood gate for a number of 'special dials' to appear...
Kind regards
David H
Hi David, I need to give you my input on this matter... I have been
: in buisness now for almost forty years and do not have any
: dissatisfied clients or customers. This watch was given to me by
: a good client who purchased the watch in Japan when it was new
: and gave this to me along with many other watches mostly Omega's
: that we have sold on his behalf, many of them were very
: collectible models and all seemed to be 100% . I have no reason
: to doubt your expertise on this dial matter , on the other hand
: my client is a very honest person.
: There seems to be a lot of interest in watch from buyers who
: understand the watch and it will go for fair market value
: whether they believe it is a redone dial or not
: Regards .. Maurice
