Couldn't agree more.. seems that these days if a Monaco isn't correct, there is always a handy back story that it came from:

A) a far away land where there be dragons
B) bought by a mate new
C) Was a gift from a mate/wife/other
D) Acquired from a Paris/New York/Hong Kong/London dealer
E) Special design for a specific market
F) Has a letter from TAG Heuer confirming it's original, that can be printed on any old printer

or

G) It's not genuine.

Not many pick G.
