Thanks Steve.. it is pretty much like NOS.

You are absolutely right.. I went through exactly the same though process.. on first looking at it there is a 'oh no' reaction, almost a dislike, but it's quite fascinating, and if you study it a little more, it becomes very attractive, and you realise it's a beautifully laid out table (even if I don't fully understand how to use it).
Then you eye is drawn to the yellow-orange numbered outer bezel. It really is quite smart, and it catches everyone's eye.
