: Stunning. So factory ordered in a 1957 colour?
Thanks. Yup, the original owner RF Angas was the first to place an order for a car from any RHD market; he ordered the car immediately after the 901's debut at the Frankfurt IAA in 1963. In April '64 he paid a £2000 pound deposit to the Concessionaire Hamiltons, with the 1965 total cost of the car £4881.10.
He was, I'm told a supporter financially of the local concessionaire, hence his ability to secure the first in RHD of any given new model; he owned the '51, a Continental from '55, another A and a T6 356B before ordering the 911.
His prior car to this, a 356 B coupe was white with a green interior ( I have a picture of this car in front of the homestead too)- so, he must have liked green interiors.
