Well, I find it an interesting era for Heuer

The automatics were something of a roll of the dice for Heuer and not one that entirely paid off, as it exposed them to much more competition than they were used to in the chronograph world. Nonetheless, it paved the way for the Heuer of the '60s and many people consider that the start of Heuer's golden era.
