On a sunny Berlin afternoon, Gerald was kind enough to fit in between my various appointments and show me his eclectic Heuer collection. He also confirmed the suspicions that I have had before that Heuers aren't as easy to come by in Berlin as they are in most of the other large German cities, for whatever reason. Though I had seen one earlier at a flea market that I wasn't entirely convinced by.
Maybe Gerald can share some photos of some of the watches - there's the best part of 60 years between them, enough to see how some of the Heuer DNA repeats in different generations of watches. I don't like travelling with lots of watches, so I'm afraid I let the side down a bit with my single 1553.
Thanks again Gerald, I think you've found an interesting direction for your collection :)
