I just don't know if I actually like them. I don't mean the design, but the 'feel' I got from it. I see a pic like Davids and I think "yep, that's bloody gorgeous, I'll have one of those at the drop of a hat", but part of me thinks that my Monnin does the same job. As for a red 1680.. I know it's not the gentlemanly thing to discuss cost.. but, honestly.. I think that for what it is, it's insane.
Maybe I need to think long and hard on it.. a 5513 would be good enough for me. Maybe I'll eat my words in the future & sport a double red SD, who knows, but for the time being, I think I'm going to stick with my Monnin & Spirotechnique :0)
