Phil,

The Valjoux 7734 movement is a real workhorse, and there should be plenty of parts available, should something go wrong with it. Any good watchmaker should be able to work on it.

The Power Reserve of a Valjoux 7734 is supposed to be 45 hours, but I have seen a few run for as long as 48.
