...and this is why watch companies should never bother making a re-edition with vintage collectors in mind- brands think they're doing the "right thing", but collectors of vintage will never prefer a modern re-edition, no matter how close it is. And the closer it is the original, the less point there is in making a new one (if you are targeting vintage collectors..they already have the original)
Re-editions should be targeted at buyers of new watches who are looking for a retro style, but are scared of buying a 40 year old watch.
