2 Suggestions: ChronoTrader & Proceed with Caution

Andy:

Thanks for posting this message. These are relatively rare -- though I am convinced that there were far more than 150 made -- and there has been a recent jump in the price.

In terms of recommendations on how and where to sell, I would recommend our sister forum -- ChronoTrader. No fees to buyer or seller, and nice guys all around. Lots of traffic lately . . . on the buy side and the sell side.

We do not allow transactions on this forum, but I imagine that you are going to get a lot of messages seeking to purchase this watch. My advice is to proceed with caution . . . yes, we have a lot of great collectors / buyers / dealers, but this is a public forum, and we have had the occasional shark swim through.

On vacation for the weekend, but looking forward to seeing this watch!!

Jeff

: Hi
: I have a 1970 18 karat gold carrera Monaco 1158 with a Milanese
: bracelet. I have been led to believe these are very rare with
: the bracelet and don't come up for sale very often . This watch
: is in perfect working condition but does have some pitting to
: the face. Does anyone know what kind of price I would get for
: this if I sold it and where the best place to sell it would be.
: I think I read only 150 of these were made.
