With the help of a "guru" in the field, I came across a model of Heuer that perhaps few people know, the "Daytona".
Here is a small review, the result of information acquired in these days before making a purchase.

This model was produced by the prestigious brand only from 1977 to 1979 and have been sold very few copies.
The Daytona was produced in two different variants, with a blue dial, which bears the reference 110.203B, and the other one with dial Fumè, with reference 110.203F.
In both cases, the case is made of steel with a diameter of 39mm (without crown) and mounts the winding crown and commissioning now on its left side, while the keys of the chronograph are mounted on its right side. As often happens with the Heuer origin of the name of this model is to be found in the automotive world (Daytona is the name of the race which takes place in Florida).
The "engine" is a beautiful 12 gauge used dall'Heuer for its chronographs 70s (this mechanic, as is known, was founded in 1970 by a partnership between Heuer-Breitling and Hamilton / Buren). Its features are the automatic charging with microrotor, 17 jewels, 21,600 a / h, Incabloc anti-shock system, power reserve 42h.

The version I bought is the one with the blue dial (with reflections crazy!!) and contains a tachymeter scale in its outer part, date at 6 o'clock and two counters, one for the small seconds display and the other for the minutes of the chronograph.

The conditions are great, hard to find examples of such as these, with satin finishes intact, the reference and the serial number etched on the back and still ..... the original warranty period (the box is Tag Heuer).
