That's about $1k more than I've ever paid for a watch (a record held by my CK2915-3 Speedmaster)....
That's a lot of money for that watch. I imagine you can still find a Blue one for $2k or less. Is a black one worth double? I don't know. Is a black one worth more than double to you? Only you can answer that. For around $2k I can get used to a Blue one. I'm happy I bought mine and paid what I paid!
