I'll stick to the first Monaco 24...

I mean the first one which was done with the gulf livery colors and the pvd coating.

Honestly, I was hoping more retro but all i see is a TAG Heuer Monaco based loosely on the black dial calibre 12 model with a PVD coating and updated hands, I'll admit the dial looks black with a finish but still.. Anyone with money could have converted their Calibre 12 Monaco into a PVD one with updated accents.

Just my opinion Jeff and everyone you'll have to excuse my rants but it doesn't looks like a lot of effort was put to making this one, in fact, this can probably be done in a week with TAG Heuer's resources. This year I'm not excited, TAG Heuer's watches (bullheads) except the ceramic 1887 don't suit my taste personally.

Personally, i was hoping to see the light of day of the calibre 1888 and them trying to use that to recreate a three-register Heuer Monaco in blue and white subdials.

: Over on Twitter, Rich asked about the new black PVD Monaco . . .
: so here it is.

: Thoughts? Reactions?

: More Photos coming soon.
