Just realised there were parts 2 & 3 - maybe you should put in some more obvious text to say 'click below for part 2' etc.
I know it's only an opinion, but, IMHO, I wouldn't have touched the dial, it looked ok to me as it was, and original lume is what 'makes' these old divers so cool, and valued - reluming may have knocked a huge chunk off the value. I probably would have had the hands done though - sympathetically to match the dial.
