: In response to a couple of inquiries, I am comfortable posting that
: it was WannaBuyWatch and Matthew Bain who prompted yesterday's
: rant. WannaBuyAWatch, in Los Angeles, is one of my favorite
: dealers, and I called owner Ken Jacobs, just to chat and catch
: up. WannaBuyAWatch lists prices on every watch that I have ever
: been interested in, and Ken is an awesome guy. I have bought a
: few amazing watches from Ken, and would trust him in absolutely
: any situation. Enough said!

Thanks for turning me onto WannaBuyAWatch. Some very interesting watches on their page. Slightly off topic here, but I've been looking for a Heuer Bund and saw this one (sold, unfortunately) on their site:
http://www.wannabuyawatch.com/indpages/35807.html
The description says "original matte black dial with white printing and luminous indexes". I'm by no means an expert on Bunds, but I thought this dial was actually a Sinn service dial, rather than an original dial. I've found another example of a Bund that has the identical dial and thought I knew what I was looking at but perhaps I'm wrong. Is this in fact a service dial with the slightly truncated numerals or is this an original dial?
