I agree that these are sort of a guilty pleasure. I can't figure out why but the subs and GMTs are some of the most comfortable watches that sit on my arm. They are virtually trouble free. They are pretty much the ultimate tool watches. I think they look classically elegant. On the bad side, no matter what I think of them they are BLING. Everybody knows I am wearing a Rolex and they make their judgements.
