Hello all! I'm from Germany so please excuse my bad english.
When I started to get interested in mechanical watches just half year ago I saw a Camaro on ebay.
I like the style of the watch so much (specially the case) but the price was too high for me (about 800 $). Two weeks later I found a watch on a other auction-platform that seems to have the same case like a camaro. I bought it for 190.- Euros. Its a BWC (Buttes watch company) and "bingo" this watch have the same case as a camaro. (see picture) I'm very happy with that watch.
A few weeks later I found EXACTLY the same watch at "joseph-watches.com", but with a white dial. But it's not a BWC, its a Heuer-Carrera!?!? Have a look at the link. The numbers on the back of the case are identical with the my BWC. This watch was sold for 1350 $!!
So now i'm confused.
Is that "Camarerra" on Joseph-watches.com a fake? Whats the story with the Heuer Camaros? It seems that the case wasnt produced exclusice for Heuer. I saw 2 or 3 other watches on ebay with that case, all no Heuers.
What you all think?
Many thanks:
Frank
