Who Likes the Old Breitlings?

Here's a family photo of three 1960s Breitlings --

  • the AOPA Cosmonaute is a very early one . . . probably from 1962, the days of Astronaut Scott Carpenter . . . the lume had gone completely black and was removed by the previous owner.
  • the Unitime is one of the very first watches that I bought, probably 10 or 12 years ago; the strap is Horween shell cordovan . . . perfect for a pilot's watch, that might be worn outside a jacket
  • the Super Ocean is a recent acquisition . . . I have chased these for years and missed them for years . . . thanks to Derek Dier, at Watches to Buy for sending this one my direction. This one has a chronograph minute hand, but no chronograph second hand; so you can use this one when you don't need to time an event "to the second".
So these are three somewhat unusual chronographs, all different in their own ways . . . so which is your favorite?

Jeff
