In Response To: lemania question ()

: two! so the hands were 1 hour apart BUT one piece from the stem
: not two seperate hands.. Sorry no images.
: Anybidy seen this! Thanks as can still buy the watch if its
: something special-

Hello Brian, it was something produced in the 70's - 80's of the last century.
It tried to imitate the GMT feature for central Europeans - but of course now it only works in the wintertime period. I have seen a few of them, mostly Sinns.
Typically this pseudo-GMT hand is bright yellow and arrow-shaped - actully this 'part' of the hand, because as you correctly state it is solid with the main hour hand.
To me, it is a curiosity and nothing more - and frankly as the L1340 is already pretty busy with the 4 central hands, adding a fifth is a bit of overkill even for a L5100 lover like myself.
Hope this helps
Fabrizio
