You raise an interesting question, comparing the number of Master Times that we see, compared with the number of the timers (Monte Carlo, Sebring and Auto Rally). I have never heard of -- or asked for -- information about the production volumes. I would guess that Master Times are somewhat more scarce than the Monte Carlos, but not by a huge margin.
The brochure below, from 1960, shows the prices of the three main models -- Auto Rally at $39; Monte Carlo at $52; and Master Time at $57. Still, I don't think that the demand for the three models was driven as much by pricing as by different functions of the timepieces. Rally drivers and their navigators may have had specific preferences, but I would be surprised if the timers greatly outnumbered the clocks.
