Just was gifted from my 93 year young father-in-law what I think to be a Model 11630 by red outlined hands, white inserts, and even numbers on bi-directional bezel. He led an active life with this being his main watch for many years. So it is well worn but still works. I am proudly wearing it now. However nearly all the top half of bezel is worn down to metal, many scratches on case and crystal. I am looking for advice on how to best take care of this watch so I can wear it for years to come as well. Do I try to get it refurbished and where? DO I leave as is and appreciate the scratches and wear as adding character? Anyways being as this is my first day of wearing I thought education from folks on this forum would be best place to start.
Thanks in advance. --DJD
